This is MobiSol—the official mobile application of NSZZ „Solidarność”. As the technology partner for this venture, we have created a tool that brings knowledge, resources, and the daily benefits of union membership directly to the smartphone screen. Over 10,000 downloads in two months
The beginning of 2026 brought the premiere of the pilot version of MobiSol in the App Store and Google Play. Although the pilot process hasn’t even reached the halfway point, and we are constantly optimizing the app based on feedback from the first users, the tool has already been enthusiastically received—rapidly gaining 10,000 downloads.
Importantly, MobiSol is an open project. The app is free and available to everyone—long-time union members, supporters, and those who simply want to learn more about the activities of NSZZ „Solidarność”. Downloading the app is the simplest way to stay up to date.
What can MobiSol do?
Instead of scattered websites and documents, users get a secure, digital “command center,” available 24/7 from anywhere.
What exactly does the app offer?
- Electronic Membership Card: No more plastic cards. Members now always have their ID with them, making it easier to use benefits and services.
- Instant Access to Information: Access to national, regional, and industry-specific news with filtering options. Integration with the solidarnosc.org.pl website via REST API allows for automatic content publishing within the app.
- Intelligent Chatbot: A tool based on the Polish Bielik.ai language model with a RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) knowledge base covering labor law, union regulations, and OSH (Occupational Safety and Health).
- Document Library: A module containing downloadable document templates with the ability to preview PDF and DOCX files directly in the app.
- Benefits Database: A catalog of discount offers and perks for NSZZ „Solidarność” members.
- Loyalty Card Wallet: The ability to scan and store QR/barcodes of external loyalty cards directly on the device.
- Event Calendar: A schedule of national, regional, and industry events with reminder functions and social media sharing.
- Interactive Regional Map: A map of Poland with the borders of the 33 regions of NSZZ „Solidarność” and quick access to contact details for regional and industry structures.
- Tutorial: A guide to app functionalities displayed upon the first launch.
- Surveys and Consultations: Anonymous opinion polls.
- Multimedia: Photo and video gallery.
- Offline Mode: Stable app performance even without an internet connection.
- WCAG 2.1 Compliance: Full accessibility for people with disabilities, in line with EU standards.
MobiSol was designed with every user in mind—regardless of their industry or level of technological expertise. The intuitive interface ensures that a young employee and a veteran worker with years of experience can use the app with equal ease.

The scale of this project required an uncompromising approach to stability and data security. The realization of such an advanced project was made possible thanks to co-financing from the European Union through the European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027 program.
This support allowed for the implementation of modern technological standards, advanced AI algorithms that power the app, and ensured full digital accessibility (compliant with the latest EU norms).
Behind the scenes of MobiSol – A challenge posed to technology
Before we wrote a single line of code, we simply listened. We wanted to deeply understand the everyday life of a union member: what slows them down, what they are looking for, and what tools they need. During weeks of Product Discovery workshops, we worked with the organization to analyze its vast structure, the needs of members from dozens of different industries, and the challenges they face.
MobiSol was built on this solid foundation.
The biggest challenge for us was integrating dozens of disparate databases, identity verification systems, and dynamically updated news services into one smoothly operating organism. However, the MobiSol architecture was designed with significant scalability in mind—so that it can easily handle up to 100,000 users in the long term.
What’s next?
Releasing the app in stores is just the beginning. Currently, during the ongoing pilot, we are focusing on full technical support (maintenance), analyzing user feedback, and ongoing system optimization. All this so that MobiSol can continuously evolve and grow along with the needs of the entire community.
