Warehouse management system - dropshipping service enablement. Better logistics process
Our client, a company from the manufacturing industry, wanted to implement a new logistics process that required the launch of a dropshipping service. It was necessary to write a dedicated WMS warehouse management system that would support the entire handling of the process.

Our client needed an IT solution that would enable him to cooperate, in the dropshipping model, with one of the online stores. They were looking for a stable and flexible IT company that would implement such a complex project.

Our Solution
The system was to support the entire logistic model of sales, from warehousing, through order processing, to shipment of goods to the end customer.
Orders are placed in the contractor’s store, however, they are based on current stock levels. Orders ready for execution are sent to our client’s system, then the goods are picked, packed and then sent to the destination. We implemented a project in the field of integration with the contractor’s system in the area of data exchange, operation of the file exchange server in accordance with the guidelines for, among others, data formats and frequency of file uploads. He carried out work related to the implementation of the entire UI layer of the WMS system for Zebra code scanners and Honeywell industrial label printers.
Results
Devqube was involved in the entire process of creating a WMS dropshipping solution for us. From initial business assumptions, project valuation, to implementation and testing. Close and intensive cooperation required consultations with both us and our contractor for whom the dropshipping service was to be provided.
